My Inspiration

The state of our job market; the lack of affordable community housing; the exodus of young people from Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket; the lives being lost at the brutal hand of heroin; these things inspire me to run for office. The reason I want to serve as State Senator is because I believe that the defining issue of our time is inequality, and that well-intentioned leaders, wielding the tools of good government, must solve this crisis and work to restore opportunity for all.

Rooted in Cape Cod

I was born and raised on Cape Cod. In 1995 I graduated from Nauset Regional High School. I met my wife Jackie while we were studying at UMass Amherst where I earned a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an MBA. We returned to Cape Cod because we wanted to raise our family here. Our three children, ages 10, 8, and 8, attend Brewster Elementary School. For the past 15 years I have built a business in Provincetown with the help of an exceptional team. As chairman of the Board of Selectmen, I’ve championed infrastructure projects and been a strong advocate for our environment. These experiences make me the best candidate for the job.
